Even though the ‘Raab Karcher (Saint-Gobain) Innovative’ was a while ago, it still holds a special place in our archive – and especially in our memories. More on that below…

Up until 2014, Saint-Gobain Building Distribution hosted the ‘Innovative’ as an annual industry event for building professionals. Around 100 suppliers from the construction sector and up to 2,000 guests came together to check out the main exhibition, listen to keynote speeches, network, and, of course, enjoy the party in the evening.

We really love looking back on those years (2007 to 2014)…

HEART-STOPPING MOMENT 2011

It happened in Hamburg… The evening event was supposed to take place at the Fish Auction Hall right on the Elbe river. As you might know, this venue floods up to 10 times a year – and back in 2011, it was only 3 times! As fate would have it, we managed to catch exactly one of those three days! Everything was set up and ready to go, and then the flood hit.

Cancel or push through? The client and we decided to go for it! So we quickly built a makeshift footbridge, redirected the guests to the balconies, waited it out with a welcome drink, and just about 90 minutes later, we dropped the tablecloths, swept out the remaining water, and the party was on…!
